Opinion Coming in Free Minnesota Case to Undo Walz’s Emergency Powers

The Minnesota Court of Appeals has announced that on April 26th, it will publish it’s opinion in Free Minnesota et-al v. Walz, the case to overturn the governor’s asserted emergency executive powers and orders.

A tribunal heard oral arguments in the case back in February.

Attorney Erick Kaardal is representing the plaintiffs, Free Minnesota, A coalition of small business owners, the New House Republican Caucus and several other members of the Minnesota Legislature.

The Supreme Court previously declined to accept the case for expedited review, but remains a possible last stop for the case, whichever way the appeal decision goes.
